Bicycle Thief
A heartwarming but appropriately devilish tale of a small-town bowling alley entrepreneur whose life takes an unexpected turn when his bicycle goes missing. The film pays a homage to Vittorio de Sica by borrowing its title from one of his classics, just like an honest thief does, and wins you over with its charming cast, beautiful cinematography, and heartfelt story.
"Bicycle Thief" is a tribute to both classic neorealist filmmaking and the everyday moments that make life worth living.

With a diverse background in international film production, marketing, and sponsorship, Pekka Ollula brings a fresh and entertaining approach to filmmaking. He has contributed to the success of blockbusters like Iron Sky (2012) and Iron Sky: The Coming Race (2019), honed his skills as an in-house producer and a creative crusader for ad agency TBWA Helsinki, and marketed the highly acclaimed horror movie Hatching (2022).
Pekka is now making a name for himself as a director, writer, and producer. He has just made his feature film debut as a producer with The Redeemers (2022) and also wrote and directed his debut short film Bicycle Thief (2022). As a partner at Time Films, a production company specializing in genre films and production services, Pekka brings his expertise to the table.
With roots in the small but mighty village of Huhtamo, Finland, Pekka has founded the prestigious Huhtamo International Film Festival, giving back to his community and solidifying his commitment to the film industry.
